ISLAMABAD: Expressing reservations on the Karachi operation, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday staged token walkout from the National Assembly.
Earlier, speaking in the lower house, MNA Muhammad Kamal alleged that MQM workers were being victimised and arrested in the ongoing operation.
He said they had asked every forum in the country to redress their grievances, adding that the Karachi operation should continue against the miscreants without any discrimination.
The MNA said the Mohajir community had given sacrifices for Pakistan, adding that urban areas of Sindh lacked basic facilities, including potable water.
He said the accountability system in the country should be transparent and across the board.
