LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman QamarZamanChaudhary said on Thursday that the bureau will reimburse the overseas Pakistanis’ investments in the two housing societyscams it was investigating.
He said this while talking to a delegation of Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) – who met him under the leadership of OPC Vice Chairperson Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner AfzaalBhatti.
Khalid and Bhatti informed the bureau’s chief that 90 houses in the provincial capital’s ‘Eden Housing Scheme’ have been handed over to the long-awaiting overseas Pakistanis – who had deposited the money for these houses some 10 years ago.
